Alliance Worship was created to foster deeper connection with God and others through the inspiration of the creative arts.
From the beginning, Alliance people quite literally sang their theology—the desire to sing such again arose from our leadership’s vision to see The Alliance reclaim our roots as songwriters and worship leaders and to emphasize some of our distinctiveness in our churches on a weekly basis.
They recognized that a wealth of music was arising in Alliance churches that was not being heard or shared in any sort of corporate way, and they desired to elevate these songs to encourage the broader Alliance family.
Ready For You
It’s easy to get caught up in work of God while forgetting to commune with God Himself. We grow weary and weak, needing His breath to reignite the fire in our souls. If you’ve been experiencing this yearning, like songwriter Josh Lindsey has, you know how lonely the journey can be. We hope this song can be an anthem prayer for you—one of turning back to our Father with a desperate plea for more of Him.
